Northern Lions BC Deal Divided 5-1 Defeat
|
Thunder Bay picked up a win at Washington Stadium, bumping off the D.C. Divided, 5-1. Pitcher Chris Jackson was a major reason the Northern Lions BC emerged victorious. Armando Trujillo locked down his 4th save. Thunder Bay raised its record to 34-30 with the win.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Steve Scott? The Thunder Bay left fielder had a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put the Northern Lions BC on top, 1-0. For the game, Scott had 2 doubles and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Thunder Bay manager Scott Williams.
