He allowed 2 runs on 6 hits, with 2 walks and 4 strikeouts in 6.2 innings of work. Tim Strong recorded the save for New Orleans, his 1st of the season.

New Orleans needed the clutch hitting of Júlio Sahagún to notch the win. The second baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Voodoo on top, 3-2. For the game, Sahagún had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
