Northern Lions BC Roll Over Bowties, 10-1

A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC and Buckhead Bowties.
The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC beat the Buckhead Bowties, 10-1, at Great Northern Field. The win was due in part to second baseman Michael Hudson, who went 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Jamie Hunter earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3.2 innings. He upped his record to 1-0.
With the game tied, 1-1, in the bottom of the sixth, Hudson had a key at-bat for Thunder Bay. With runners on 1st and 3rd, Hudson hit a run-scoring single off Phil Berry, making the score 2-1, Northern Lions BC.
"Things went our way," said Hudson.
Thunder Bay, at 19-20, sits in 8th place in the Third League.
