Guangorena Delivers Walk-Off Win for Voodoo
The New Orleans Voodoo beat the D.C. Divided, 4-3. New Orleans pitcher and Willemstad, Curaçao, native Huibert Illidge led the way. New Orleans reliever Marty Taylor picked up the win to move to 1-0. Ron Blackshaw suffered the loss. The loss makes D.C. 1-4.

The Voodoo were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when catcher Kameron Guangorena turned a 1-1 fastball from José Hernández into a 2-run single. The walk-off single electrified the The Voodoo Lounge denizens and sent the Voodoo home with a thrilling 4-3 win.

"Both teams played hard," said New Orleans manager Chase Sims.
