M3L Rookie Announces Top Starter Wednesday, August 1st , 2046 Ricardo Ramírez of Twinsburg had an award-winning July as he took home the M3L Rookie Pitcher of the Month award. "He told me once people used to make fun of the way he pitches," Ramírez's pitching coach told reporters. "There wasn't anybody laughing in July except for Ricardo." Ramírez was all business when he took the mound though, collecting a 3-0 record in 6 starts. He struck out 45 batters in 47 innings and kept opponents to a .213 batting average. This season Ramírez has worked 117 innings with 107 strikeouts en route to a 7-3 record and a 3.54 ERA. |
