Shockers Halt Teague's Hit Streak Sunday, July 1st , 2046 The 21-game hitting streak is over. Franklin Fire center fielder Frank Teague failed to get a hit today against the Surprise Shockers and had his consecutive-game hitting streak broken. The 21-year-old went 0-for-5 in his club's 7-6 victory over the Shockers at Lawmen Ballpark. "I think I only made it to 21 games because I got lucky once or twice," he said. "So I guess I can't complain too much that I got unlucky and broke the streak." Thus far this season Teague has hit .335 with 11 home runs, 46 RBIs and scored 38 times. |
