Rocketeers Roelofs Gone for Year Saturday, August 11th , 2046
The season is finished for Alco Roelofs of the Seattle Rocketeers. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Rocketeers starting pitcher suffered an arthritic elbow while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Long Island Lighthouse. Team doctors said it would take at least 4 months to heal.
This year Roelofs has compiled a 2-5 mark with a 5.61 ERA in 13 starts.
