PL News: Draft Pool Revealed
Wednesday, December 26th , 2046
The speculation as to who will be the number one pick can now officially begin. Earlier today, United States Premier League published its list of players eligible for the annual rookie draft. For the next thirty days, scouts will be busy studying this untested talent in order to come up with a list of names to recommend that their clubs pursue. But just who those picks will be won't be known until the draft is conducted next month.
A section on the potential draftees has been added to the Transaction section of the BNN site, which will be available for 65 days before the draft takes place.
The early favorites to be high picks are the following: 1. Robert Rodríguez, 22 year-old CF out of college. 2. Jon Griffin, 21 year-old CF out of college. 3. Cornell Rogers, 21 year-old RHP out of college. 4. Miguel González, 21 year-old SS out of college. 5. Mike Allen, 23 year-old RHP out of college. 6. Bill Webb, 17 year-old CF out of high-school. 7. Stu Hamilton, 23 year-old 2B out of college. 8. Ron Pollard, 21 year-old CF out of college. 9. Ed Walters, 21 year-old RHP out of college. 10. Ron Jordan, 22 year-old SS out of college.
The official OSA Mock Draft will be released on the day of the draft, or you can review the draft pool on the draft page.

Liu Gets a Shock, Will Miss Time
Tuesday, December 25th , 2046
Rocketeers first baseman Gah-fat Liu received medical attention yesterday after suffering minor burns at his home. Liu was apparently attempting to fix an appliance when he received an electrical shock that burned his left hand. According to teammate Myles Winters, who spoke to Liu shortly after the accident, the injury will likely keep Liu out of action for the next few days, but there is no reason to believe he will suffer any long-term side effects.
