Hamhock Blasts 84s, Pandas Take Game 1, 5-4
The Montana Pandas started the ToC Semi-Finals in style today, winning on the road against the Greenville 84s at 84s Field by a score of 5-4 to take an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series. Pandas designated hitter Roberts Hamhock excelled. He went 1-3 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

Montana used a timely hit from Mauro Jasso to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Pandas ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

"We're happy," Hamhock told reporters after the win. "When you're in the playoffs, you've got to treat every game like it could be your last."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at 84s Field in Greenville.
