Trash Pandas Stay Hot, Beat Snowpeople, 5-4

Ellesmere Island right fielder Tak-keung Zha had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Zha was 3-4 with a triple, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs, even as Watford City beat the Snowpeople, 5-4. The save went to Todd Jackson, number 8 for him. The Trash Pandas have now won 5 straight.
Watford City used a well-timed hit by Ben Carmody to capture the win. The center fielder socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the third inning to put the Trash Pandas ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"We found a way to get it done," Carmody said.
