The Hicksville Hounds beat the Bompton Baby Lakers, 6-4. Hicksville pitcher and Anjo, Japan, native Katsuhito Goto led the way. The 9th-place Hounds now have a win-loss record of 21-29.
Ray Colbert put Hicksville in front, 3-0, when he hit a 2-run home run off David Ferguson in the top of the second. It was his 3rd home run of the season.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Goto.
