Big Day for Okel as Leviathan Down Dirty Reds, 8-1
Nova Scotia center fielder Gavin Okel had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the San Mateo Dirty Reds, 8-1. Nova Scotia reliever Alfredo Molina picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Sylvain Richard was saddled with the loss. The loss has the Dirty Reds at 7-7.

The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fourth when Okel hit a bases-clearing triple. It propelled the Leviathan into the lead, 3-0.

"I thought we played a nice game," Okel told the Nova Scotia Gazette. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
