San Mateo Dirty Reds pitcher Travis Morgan was in fine form, leading his team past the Nova Scotia Leviathan, 5-1. At 43-59, San Mateo is in 8th place in the Premier League.

The Leviathan had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Dirty Reds going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 26-year old left fielder Quitério Ruah came to the plate. Ruah hit a run-scoring double on a 1-1 fastball from Nova Scotia hurler Robert Smalls. It was Ruah's 17th double of the year.

Morgan called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
