Dirty Reds Win, Ruah has 4 hits tonight
The home crowd had a good time watching the Nova Scotia Leviathan and San Mateo Dirty Reds get after it.

The San Mateo Dirty Reds beat the Nova Scotia Leviathan, 10-4, at Lang Park. San Mateo left fielder Quitério Ruah had an outstanding performance. He went 4-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4. Mark Taylor earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 4.1 innings. His record is now 1-0.

San Mateo took the lead in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and the bases loaded, Fa-hsien Tze stroked a 2-run single to make it 6-4, Dirty Reds.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Ruah told the San Mateo Daily.

The Dirty Reds' win now puts them at 42-59.
