Rocketeers Stumble, Lose to Lighthouse
The Long Island Lighthouse defeated the Seattle Rocketeers, 8-4, at Boeing Dome. Long Island left fielder Jorge Napolez had a superb performance. He went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Chase Sims, the winner, goes to 8-5. He allowed 2 runs on 7 hits, with 1 walk and 8 strikeouts over 7.2 innings. The win elevated the Lighthouse to 51-49.

In the top of the seventh, Napolez put his team in front with his 22nd double of the season. The 2-run double, which came against José Correa, made it 3-1, Long Island.

"That's a solid team effort right there," said Napolez. "Everyone's feeling positive after that win."
