Nova Scotia Gets 5-4 Win
Nova Scotia picked up a win at The Lighthouse, bumping off the Long Island Lighthouse, 5-4. Pitcher Everton Stirzacre was a major reason the Leviathan emerged victorious. Stirzacre, now 4-3, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 3, walking 1, and allowing 3 runs. The win lifted the Nova Scotia record to 56-43.

Nova Scotia took a 5-3 lead on Ricardo Águila's 3rd triple of the season. The run-scoring triple, which Águila hit in the top of the eighth, left Long Island pitcher Carlos Rodríguez shaking his head.

"It's a mindset," said Stirzacre. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
