Seco Hits 2 home runs in Lighthouse Win
The home crowd had a good time watching the Nova Scotia Leviathan and Long Island Lighthouse get after it.

Javier Seco left his imprint on the 10-4 Long Island win against the Nova Scotia Leviathan. Seco hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 and driving in 4. Picking up the win was Greg Hodge. He went 6 innings, allowing 4 runs on 6 hits. The right--hander struck out 7 and walked 2. Carlos Rodríguez converted his 5th save in 6 tries.

Seco contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Long Island in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 4-3, Seco took a changeup from Isaac Gunner and stroked the home run to left. His 12th home run of the season allowed the Lighthouse to leap in front, 5-4.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Michael Esposito said.

The triumph puts Long Island at 50-47 for the season.
