Lighthouse Lose to Dirty Reds in Walk Off
The San Mateo Dirty Reds faced a tough opponent in Long Island pitcher Chase Sims, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Lang Park by a final score of 4-3. Sims went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. The winner was Rainer Ausmus in relief. His record improves to 4-2. Lloyd Natoff took the loss. The Dirty Reds, at 38-49, sit in 8th place in the Premier League.

The Dirty Reds were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when shortstop Kalino Iolana turned a 1-0 fastball from Lloyd Natoff into a 2-run double. The walk-off double electrified the Lang Park denizens and sent the Dirty Reds home with a thrilling 4-3 win.

"The house was rockin'," said Iolana.
