The Long Island Lighthouse picked up a win at Lang Park, knocking off the San Mateo Dirty Reds, 3-2. Starting pitcher Mike Bennett played a key role in the triumph. The win makes Long Island 45-41.

Long Island used the clutch hitting of David Stone to capture the win. The second baseman drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to give the Lighthouse the lead, 3-2. For the game, Stone had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Long Island skipper Michael Esposito.
