Dirty Reds Collect 7-4 Win Versus Nova Scotia
Ambrose Watkins impressed in the 7-4 San Mateo win over Nova Scotia. Watkins went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Hahn Hartwig got the win, improving to 4-5. He pitched 5.1 innings, giving up 6 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 6 and walking 2. The Dirty Reds improved to 33-43.

With San Mateo leading 2-0 in the top of the fourth, Watkins hit a curveball from Everton Stirzacre for a 2-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Dirty Reds ahead, 4-0.

"We take it day by day here," said Watkins, "and today was a good one for us."
