The Long Island Lighthouse topped the San Mateo Dirty Reds, 5-2, in United States Premier League action at The Lighthouse. The game was highlighted by the performance of Long Island pitcher Mike Bennett. Long Island now has a record of 35-30 with the win.

In the bottom of the sixth, Long Island designated hitter Javier Sierra gave his team the lead. With two out and the bases loaded, Hatch hit his 16th double of the year. San Mateo pitcher Sylvain Richard surrendered it. With that, the Lighthouse jumped in front, 3-2.

"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Sierra told the Long Island Herald.
