Great Effort by Athletic Club KC C Pollock Not Enough in 12-5 Loss
Despite a fine performance by catcher Jeremy Pollock, the Athletic Club KC lost to the Nova Scotia Leviathan, 12-5. Pollock went 4 for 4 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. The Leviathan now have a mark of 27-29.

Early in the game, left fielder Benno Luby had a bases-clearing triple for Nova Scotia. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Leviathan on top, 3-0.

"The team always comes first, so pulling out the win on a day like today is the most important thing," Luby told a reporter while responding to autograph requests. "Our fans like to come out to see a win, so I'm happy to do what I can to give them that."
