Kingfishers Win 5-4 Walk-Off
The home team gave their fans plenty to cheer about, with a thrilling walk-off win.

Long Island got a terrific performance from pitcher Chase Sims, but it wasn't enough to beat the Pittsburgh Kingfishers. Pittsburgh won the Pittsburgh Grounds contest, 5-4. Sims threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. Reliever Seong-hyeon Yi picked up the win. His record improves to 2-1. Jeremy Brody took the loss.

Mario Castillo was the walk-off hero for Pittsburgh. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Kingfishers second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Castillo.

The Kingfishers now own a record of 20-34.
