Espinar Jacks Two Home Runs in 5-3 Long Island Win
The Long Island Lighthouse defeated the Pittsburgh Kingfishers, 5-3, at Pittsburgh Grounds today. Leading the charge for Long Island was second baseman Jaime Espinar. He was 2-2 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Long Island pitcher Shem Burkholder got the win. He's now 4-3. Craig Culver was tagged with the loss. With the victory, the Lighthouse upped their record to 30-22.

Espinar had a key at-bat for Long Island early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and gave Long Island an early 2-0 lead.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Espinar. "And not try to do too much."
