4-1 Loss Extends Pittsburgh Losing Streak
The Nova Scotia Leviathan defeated the Pittsburgh Kingfishers, 4-1, at The Dungeon in Halifax. Nova Scotia third baseman Ronald Lithgoe had a superb performance. He went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Nova Scotia reliever Jin-oong Mae picked up the win, upping his record to 2-5. Jared LaBarge was saddled with the loss. Tom DeHart earned the save for Nova Scotia, his 12th.

The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth when Lithgoe hit a 2-run home run. It propelled the Leviathan into the lead, 3-1.

"We're scuffling right now," said losing manager Tyler Johnson.

The winning streak has now reached 5 games for Nova Scotia.
