Leviathan Slap 2-1 Loss on Patriots
|
Nova Scotia rode a good effort from starter Ken Grant to beat the Boston Patriots at Dunkin Donuts Park. The final score was 2-1. Tom DeHart earned the save, his 10th, for the Leviathan. Nova Scotia has a record of 21-26, placing them 7th in the Premier League.
Len Sandison drove in one run for Nova Scotia. The 23-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the second. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Sjoerd Reynoud. It was his 2nd RBI of the season.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Sandison. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
