Lighthouse Edge Patriots, 3-2
|
Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Long Island Lighthouse and Boston Patriots.
Long Island starter Greg Hodge had a strong outing against the Boston Patriots at The Lighthouse. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 3-2 win. Long Island has a 4-game win streak, while Boston has lost 3 in a row.
Javier Sierra had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth for Long Island. He came through with a run-scoring single to put Long Island in front, 3-1.
Hodge told a Long Island Herald reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
