Northern Virginia Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Rainbow Mermaids grabbed a win, 4-3, at Atlantica, overcoming a fine effort from Seattle pitcher Virgil Dickerson. Dickerson went 6.2 innings and allowed 1 run. The Rainbow Mermaids are now 15-17, while the Rocketeers fall to 14-18.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Northern Virginia trailing 3-1, Eustacio Tafalla hit a fastball from Basilio Delgado for a 3-run home run, giving the Rainbow Mermaids the walk-off win.

After the game, Northern Virginia manager David Lister applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
