Leviathan Pull Even With 7-4 Victory
The Nova Scotia Leviathan weathered a fine game by San Mateo right fielder Esteban Sifuentes to upend the Dirty Reds, 7-4, at Lang Park. Sifuentes was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. Tom DeHart nailed down his 7th save. Nova Scotia, at 15-15, holds down 6th place in the Premier League.

Princess Quarter, Sint Maarten-born Benno Luby came through in the clutch. In the top of the seventh, with the bases loaded and the Leviathan trailing 4-3, he hit a 2-run single to center to put Nova Scotia on top.

"I'm proud to wear a Nova Scotia jersey," Luby told the Nova Scotia Gazette. "We played a good game and came out with the win. What more can you ask for?"
