Ghosts Win Tight Menard's AA Race Sunday, September 18th , 2044 Otton Asmus called it "one of the best parts of being a pro ballplayer." The Casper Ghosts reliever was referring to winning a division title, as his club has just captured the Menard's AA crown. "There's not many better feelings than winning a tight pennant race," he said. "We worked hard for it all year, have our record at 61-40 right now and feel we're in good shape for the postseason." It was the 3rd time the Ghosts have won the division. It may be a high for Asmus and his teammates, but there is certainly one better feeling he's now hoping for. "Winning the 3L AA Championship," he said. "Nothing would top that." |
