Yamashita Sticks It to 3AA Pitchers Monday, July 24th , 2045 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the M3L Double A, but last week Michizane Yamashita of the Crescent City Krewe reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Yamashita rocked opposing pitching for a .526 average (10-for-19), 3 home runs and 7 RBIs to come away with the award. This season Yamashita is swinging the bat at a .274 rate with 26 hits in 95 at-bats. To date he has hit 9 home runs, scored 17 runs and driven in 25. |
