Taylor Hurls No-Hitter Monday, July 10th , 2045 It was a fantastic day for Crescent City Krewe starter Marty Taylor and a lousy day for the Ithaca Fighting Imps. The Crescent City hurler's pitching artistry completely befuddled and bewildered the Fighting Imps, as the Krewe cruised to a 4-0 win. When it was all over, Taylor was credited with one of the rarer feats in baseball -- a no-hitter. "The ball was moving and darting, and best of all, going where I wanted it to go," Taylor said later. He rang up 6 strikeouts and allowed 1 walk while shutting Ithaca down at Field of the Krewe.
