Northern Lions BC Ace Souza Cops Outstanding Pitcher Award Sunday, November 5th , 2045 Jorge Souza of the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC was in command and couldn't do much wrong when he was on the mound this season. His outstanding 9-5 won-lost mark and 2.55 ERA were big factors in his winning the 2045 Menard's Third League Outstanding Pitcher Award. In 166 innings of work and 22 starts, Souza struck out 146 while giving up 117 hits and 39 walks. He held opposing batters to a .195 average. Earl Hurdle of the Detroit Elite finished second in voting, while Miguel Pérez of the Nashville Outlaws finished third. |
