Pérez Gets September's Top Pitcher Trophy Sunday, October 1st , 2045 This month when the Nashville manager wrote the name "Pérez" on the lineup card, he was confident that he would get a good start out of him. Outing after outing in September Miguel Pérez took command and usually got the win. He dominated with a 3-0 mark and 1.35 ERA in 4 starts, piling up 26.2 innings and 27 strikeouts and holding opposing teams to a .184 average. For his superb performance Pérez was named the Menard's Third League Pitcher of the Month by the baseball writers. For the year Pérez has compiled a 14-2 record with a 2.83 ERA. |
