Injury Sidelines Tony Wood for Season Thursday, August 17th , 2045 The Buckhead Bowties were dealt a blow today when starting pitcher Tony Wood left the game with an undisclosed injury. The team has now revealed that Wood has suffered a stretched elbow ligament and will most likely miss the rest of the season as a result of the injury. To date this season Wood sports a 3-1 mark with a 3.10 ERA in 7 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .296 batting average and has 18 strikeouts in 40.2 innings. |
