Gould Selected Top Player Monday, August 7th , 2045 So far in his young career, Andy Gould has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the M3L Single A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 21-year-old Niagara Falls Expos right fielder hit at a torrid .471 clip as he collected 8 hits in 17 at-bats, 1 home run, 3 RBIs and 2 runs scored. So far this year Gould is batting .216 with 5 home runs, 23 RBIs and 31 runs scored. |
