Godfathers Bailey Blanks Torch Thursday, July 27th , 2045 Chris Bailey had an impressive outing at Pontiac Copperdome today, hurling the Pontiac Godfathers to a 8-0 shutout victory over the Mancelona Torch. "He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," Mancelona skipper Marshall Edwards said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders." On the day, the right-handed Bailey yielded 2 hits and tallied 9 strikeouts with 1 walk.
