Ardiles Sweeps Up Newcomer of the Year Award Sunday, November 5th , 2045 The 2045 United States Premier League Newcomer of the Year Award has gone to Osvaldo Ardiles of the Athletic Club KC. In his debut season he hit .304, drove in 52 runs and scored 54 times, while playing in 106 games. The 22-year-old newcomer also had 33 doubles, 9 triples and 9 home runs. Todd Hunter of the Pittsburgh Kingfishers finished second in voting, while Carlos Rivera of the Boston Patriots finished third. |
