Gil Gets Award for Relief Work Sunday, November 5th , 2045 The United States Premier League Reliever of the Year Award for 2045 has been bestowed on Boston Patriots relief specialist Jorge Gil. The 29-year-old bullpen ace, out of San Pedro Sula, Honduras, nailed down the award with 10 saves in 41 relief appearances, 123 strikeouts in 90.2 innings and a record of 6 wins and 2 losses to go with his 1.69 ERA. Seong-hyeon Yi of the Pittsburgh Kingfishers finished second in voting, while Indigo Diaz of the Athletic Club KC finished third. |
