Leviathan Clip Patriots 4-3 in R1 Contest
The Nova Scotia Leviathan topped the Boston Patriots by the score of 4-3 and moved into a 1-1 tie in the ToC First Round today. The largest share of the credit belongs to Nova Scotia starter Ken Grant, who threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball in the win.

Nova Scotia used the clutch hitting of Ángel Saelices to capture the win. The shortstop drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to give the Leviathan the lead, 4-3. For the game, Saelices had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.

"Ken was pounding the zone," said Nova Scotia manager Andrew Powell.

The next game is set to be played for Sunday, October 1st , 2045 at The Dungeon in Halifax in Halifax.
