Patriots Rally Past Leviathan to Claim 1-0 Series Lead
The Boston Patriots powered past the visiting Nova Scotia Leviathan, 7-4, in the opener of the ToC First Round at Dunkin Donuts Park today. Boston second baseman Dídac Nores was 3-3 with a home run, a triple, and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3, to lead the charge. The Patriots now lead the series 1-0.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Nores hit a fastball from Tom DeHart for a 3-run home run. The Patriots, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"We lost," Nova Scotia manager Andrew Powell said later. "We'll deal with it. The series isn't over."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Dunkin Donuts Park in Boston.
