Pittsburgh Bats Go Silent in 4-0 Loss
The Lighthouse was the site for United States Premier League action featuring the Pittsburgh Kingfishers and Long Island Lighthouse.

Long Island turned a good effort from starter Shem Burkholder into a win over the Pittsburgh Kingfishers at The Lighthouse. The final score was 4-0. The winning pitcher was Burkholder, now 4-0. He tossed 6.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 4. The save was credited to Mac Hippenhammer, his 1st.

Javier Seco had a big hit for Long Island in the bottom of the third inning. With Long Island leading 1-0, Seco hit a run-scoring double. It was his 5th double of the season and put the Lighthouse up, 2-0.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Long Island manager Michael Esposito.

The defeat makes Pittsburgh 6-9.
