Goode Leads Niagara Falls to 1-0 Win
The Niagara Falls Expos went home winners at Ballpark of Yucca Valley, thanks in large part to starter Steve Goode. Goode stifled the Yucca Valley Yellows, enabling Niagara Falls to grab the 1-0 win. Jeff Petersen picked up the save for Niagara Falls, his 1st of the year. At 41-46, the Expos claim 9th place in the Menard's A.

The famously hardworking Goode handled the Yellows all day, notching 2 strikeouts in 7 innings while allowing 1 hit. Goode goes to 4-5 on the year with 75 strikeouts.

Goode told a Niagara Falls Chronicle reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
