The Yucca Valley Yellows did just enough to secure a victory over the Niagara Falls Expos, 4-3, at Ballpark of Yucca Valley. Nobody did more than pitcher Felipe López. Yucca Valley's record now stands at 50-36, placing them second in the Menard's A.

León Martínez won the game for Yucca Valley when homered off Jeff Petersen in the bottom of the 11th.

In postgame comments, Martínez said, "I think we gave the fans their money's worth."
