The Syracuse Storm picked up a win at Storm Park, knocking off the Mancelona Torch, 7-2. Starting pitcher Chin-yau Tu was a big reason why. Tu got the win, improving to 1-4. He allowed 4 hits and walked 6 over 6 innings. Tu allowed 2 runs. Milo Coslovich earned the save for Syracuse, his 1st.

The Storm got a big hit from first baseman Edward Tucker. In the bottom of the sixth, Tucker pounded a run-scoring double to right. His 5th double of the season put the Storm ahead, 3-2.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Tucker.

The third-place Storm now have a win-loss record of 43-34.
