Kent had no answer for Yucca Valley Yellows hurler Edemona Babitu, who overwhelmed Comets hitters as the Yellows coasted to victory, 6-0. The win elevated the Yellows to 44-24.

It could have been a different outcome for Yucca Valley, had it not been for Cory Clayton, the 21-year old shortstop . Clayton contributed a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put Yucca Valley up, 5-0.

Babitu called the triumph "a good team win."
