No one was more impactful than Elijah Schneider in the 8-3 Grand Forks win over Yucca Valley. Schneider went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Stu Sutherland got credit for the win, improving to 3-1. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 4.2 innings. At 32-25, the Caterpillars find themselves in 4th place in the Menard's A.

Grand Forks used the bat of Noel Bourke to get the win. The first baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Caterpillars ahead, 4-3. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"Win or lose, we always try to grind it out and stay even-keeled," Schneider said in reaction to the win.
