Syracuse picked up a win at Storm Park, toppling the Walla Walla Walleye, 3-2. Pitcher Juan Gonzáles was one of the reasons the Storm triumphed. John Ellis closed the game out for Syracuse, earning his 1st save. With the victory, the Storm upped their record to 27-22.
Gonzáles allowed no runs over 7.1 innings. He also racked up 6 strikeouts.
"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Syracuse manager Harris Bailey.
