Riding the 2-hit performance of the 23-year old center fielder Hamilton Long, the Yucca Valley Yellows stopped the Pontiac Godfathers, 10-2. Yucca Valley reliever Carlos Gómez picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Adrián García took the loss. The Yellows improve their record to 25-13 with the win over Pontiac.

Long had a key at-bat for Yucca Valley early in the game. With the bases loaded, he hit a bases-clearing triple. It was his 2nd triple of the season and gave Yucca Valley an early 3-0 lead.

"We did a lot of things right," said Long.
