Crawdads Need Extra Innings to Top Comets, 4-2
The Cut Off Crawdads took Kent pitcher Tom MacKissock's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Fuller Park. The final score had Cut Off getting past the Comets, 4-2. MacKissock went 5.2 innings and allowed 2 runs, striking out 5. Lorenzo Ramos earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. He upped his record to 1-1. The Crawdads sit in 5th place in the Menard's A with a record of 14-12.

Cut Off used a clutch hit from Michizane Yamashita to get the win. The right fielder drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Crawdads ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Yamashita said after the game.
